Inert

Our fully compliant recycling site is able to accept inert waste material from industrial and construction sites across the region.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Primarily derived from the construction and demolition sector, inert waste defines waste which is neither chemically or biologically reactive, so will not decompose.

Inert waste can be recovered at the very site that produced it, at other sites, or as quarry fill and fill for road projects. In order to do this, the waste is crushed and sifted. Non-recycled inert waste is transported to special storage facilities before being turned into final waste, which can no longer be treated under current technical and economic conditions.

Please note that you cannot place mixed waste in an inert skip. For more information, please get in touch with our team.
